I find it quite pathetic that Zinnia would even THINK to write something like this. It's time I expose this
chick for the intellectually dishonest hypocrite that she is....

And someone had <a href="http://slashdot.org/palm/14/12/02/13/1822231_comments_4-1.shtml" rel="nofollow">answered</a> it on /. today:

<blockquote>
The difference between "know" and "believe" is that belief exists independent of evidence, whereas knowledge is somehow grounded in experience.

Knowledge is justified true belief. ~Socrates

I have what to believe in.
I know the meaning :)
And I am happy for it.
It's unbelievable,
but the meaning for me
is the world itself.
I live for it.

The World[*].

It's like believing in God.
But it's a rational belief.
And it's not just a belief.
It's an understanding
of the truth:

That the Better World is,
what I am living for.

Do you know,
what it is
'to know'
instead of
'to believe'?

When the proofs
are here,
and you don't need
to believe in anything!

It's happiness to KNOW what you are living for.
It's happiness have no need to BELIEVE.
It's happiness to be SURE!

This reminds me of their similar call to boycott advertisers of the reality show about American Muslims because the show portrayed them as normal people, not Jihad terrorists! I wish the media would stop giving publicity to the real terrorists, which are these so called family value groups, whose actions result in gay kids killing themselves.

Another great post. This actually talks directly to the issue that made me lose my faith: the realisation that different churches believe different things (and the realisation that my specific church might not be the only one that has everything right). I can speak from experience that facing this kind of introspection is very difficult.
Please keep up the great content! Your incisive insights are appreciated.
